The Jumpstart Program
Building a high-fence ranch takes time. The painful part isn’t the construction — it’s the years between closing on the land and harvesting your first mature buck. This program deletes that gap.
How it works
You buy your does now. They stay here, in our pens, breeding and producing fawns while your fence goes up and your infrastructure gets built. When you’re ready, we deliver a herd that has already been reproducing for a year or two — instead of a handful of animals you paid full price for all at once.
It starts with a consultation about your property and your goals, followed by a written proposal. Short-term and long-term options both exist. Some owners board with us only until their own pens are finished; others keep their herd here year-round permanently and skip the operating cost of running pens entirely.
One condition: only Crown Point Whitetails deer are allowed in the program. We’re not willing to put our herd health at risk by mixing in animals whose history we don’t control.
Where your deer are kept
Proper pens, and a working facility on site.
This is the fair question about any boarding arrangement: you are handing over animals worth tens of thousands of dollars and trusting somebody else to keep them alive and breeding. So here is the honest answer.
Your deer live in our pens, the same way ours do — outside, on the ground, in the same conditions they will be in when they get to your ranch. What separates us is what happens when an animal needs handling. AI, health work, and anything else that requires putting hands on a deer is done in a purpose-built, climate-controlled facility a short walk away. Most boarding operations do not have that, and it is the difference between a routine procedure and a stressful one.

The same thinking carries through to delivery day — a blacked-out, air-conditioned trailer rather than a stock trailer, because the haul is where expensive deer quietly get ruined. How we haul →
A worked example
Starting with ten does. Your actual proposal is built around your property, but this shows the shape of it.
Year 1 · Late summer
You purchase 10 does. They stay at our facility.
Year 1 · November
All 10 bred to the sire of your choice.
Year 2 · May
Fawns hit the ground. You now own roughly 30 head — your original 10 does plus about 20 fawns.
Year 2 · November
The does are bred again to the sire of your choice.
Year 3 · February — Delivery
About 30 head arrive at your ranch: 10 bred does, 10 yearling bucks, 10 yearling does. The does are carrying.
Year 3 · May
That second fawn crop drops on your place. You’re now running roughly 50 head of premium genetics — for a fraction of what buying 50 head outright would have cost.
What it costs
The deer
Standard doe pricing, starting at $2,500. Paid up front, same terms as any other purchase.
Boarding
$125 per deer, per month to stay in our pens. Feed, care, and management included.
